How do I contact the store?

What is your return policy?
Refunds are given on any new unopened games and hardware within 14 days of purchase. The original receipt and the unused item in the original sealed packaging are required for all returns and exchanges.
A 20% restocking fee will be charged for returns on open box systems and accessories when accompanied with the original receipt and packaging within 14 days of purchase. Microplay reserves the right to refuse open box items that cannot be re-sold.
We offer 30-day exchange on all defective new and used games and accessories. We do not offer refunds on defective items, only direct exchanges. Store credit is offered if no similar item is available.
We do not offer returns on defective new systems. Customers are covered by the manufacturer’s warranties and must deal directly with the manufacturer.
Do you sell more than just video games?
We also sell collectibles, board games, plushies, trading cards, retro games and many other video game related merchandise and products.
Trade-ins
What is your trade-in policy?
City bylaw requires a Government-issued photo ID with current address. eg: Driver’s license or Ontario photo card.
If you are less than 18 years old you must be accompanied by an adult with proper government-issued ID. Microplay reserves the right to refuse any trade-ins. Cash may be issued in lieu of store credit. Cash has less value than store credit.
Items purchased with a trade in may not be refunded. Store credit only.
Can I get cash for a trade-in?
We give cash for video games, systems and accessories.
Can I get a trade-in quote over the phone?
We are happy to give customers a quick trade-in estimate over the phone if time permits, however, until we see the product, it is best to bring it into the store for an exact quote.
How much will I get for a trade-in?
At Microplay we try to give you as much as possible for your games. Generally, the amount of trade credit is directly reliant on 3 factors.
- The new and used retail selling price of the game.
- How many of that title we currently have in our inventory.
- Whether the customer wants cash or wants to trade it towards another in-store item.
